A 47-year-old man suspected of vandalizing the Coachella Valley branch of the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office in Indio fled onto the roof of a building Monday, prompting a police standoff, but was eventually taken into custody.
Sean Allen Camba of Temecula was booked into Benoit Detention Center in Indio on suspicion of vandalism, assault with a deadly weapon and delaying a peace officer, and he also has an active felony warrant, according to the Indio Police Department.
His bail was set at $25,000.
According to Sgt. Abraham Plata, officers responded to the District Attorney’s Office branch on Highway 111 in Indio at about 8:45 a.m. Monday on a report of vandalism. The nature of the vandalism was unclear.
