HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- On the outside of an apartment building on Chisholm Trail, bullet holes cover the windows and wall.

On the inside, a young woman is recovering after she said she was hit by one of those bullets early Saturday morning.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office told ABC13 deputies responded around 12:40 a.m. to 18204 Chisholm Trail. The caller stated a bullet hit a 25-year-old female in her arm.

Natalia Martinez said that was her.

"There were like a lot of gunshots," Martinez said. "I was sleeping and I moved, and when I moved, I lifted my hand and they hit my... on my arm."

The walls to her room are now covered with holes.
