DALLAS — The NBA preseason is officially over, and all 30 NBA teams have their rosters set — including the Dallas Mavericks .

The Mavs had a busy offseason, which included drafting first overall , re-signing stars and role players , and making some free agency acquisitions . After missing the playoffs last season, the Mavericks have reloaded and look like real contenders in a competitive Western Conference.

The most apparent and exciting acquisition this offseason was No. 1 overall pick and Duke phenom Cooper Flagg. Flagg's guard-like skills in a 6'9" frame made him an offensive threat in college, and his game looks like it could translate to the NBA. The Mavs have already expressed some confidence having Flagg run the point .
