Jimmy Thelin reckons it’s important Aberdeen are in Europe constantly as they prepare to grab their passports and head out to AEK Athens.
The Dons played well in their UEFA Conference League defeat against Shakhtar Donetsk at Pittodrie just under three weeks ago.
Their second game takes the Dons to Greece and the Pittodrie boss wants to build on their late winner at St Mirren on Saturday.
Thelin said: “Every manager or player wants to be in Europe.
“It’s important to be in this competition, you need to play a lot of games and also need to know how to travel, how to recover, how to perform again.
