CALDWELL, Idaho — Emergency responders freed a trapped motorist following a collision between a pickup truck and a semi-truck on Monday morning.

According to the Caldwell Fire Department , the crash occurred at the intersection of Wagner Road and Galloway Road.

The department said fire crews extricated one person and gave emergency medical treatment to those involved in the accident.

One patient was airlifted from the scene for additional medical treatment.

The fire department did not release information about the extent of injuries or the identities of those involved.
