PORT ARTHUR, Texas — The Port Arthur Police Department is investigating what led to a shooting Monday night in Port Arthur.

Police believe the shooting happened in the 3800 Block of 15th Street at around 7:30 p.m.

Police found the victim just a block away along Gulfway Drive. Investigators at the scene told 12News that he was taken to Christus Saint Elizabeth for treatment, his condition is unknown.

No suspect has been named yet.
