This weekend alone the detection systems caught nine drivers going the wrong way on on ramps around the state, but thanks to these wrong way systems all those drivers turned around, preventing what could’ve turned into tragedy.
More than 200 highway ramps are now equipped with wrong way detection systems.
The program launched in December 2023 and now almost two years later it continues to grow.
