WARNER ROBINS, Ga. — Tonight, city leaders said the City of Warner Robins approved a $21,000 traffic study along Corder Road and South Houston Lake Road.

They said the study will examine how new housing developments are contributing to congestion and growth in the area.

City leaders added that they are funding the study themselves rather than requiring developers to conduct their own traffic analyses.

The goal, city officials said, is to get a full picture of how fast the area is growing and what improvements may be needed before additional homes and businesses move in.

“Growth is good, we want growth. In fact, we need growth,” resident Tim Bergl said.
