SPOKANE, Wash. -- A local nonprofit is celebrating three years of helping some of Spokane's most vulnerable little ones on Tuesday.

On October 21, Maddie's Place, a Spokane-based nonprofit that provides support for babies recovering from prenatal substance exposure and their families, will celebrate three years of serving the community.

The "Three Cheers for Three Years" anniversary will feature outdoor games, refreshments, pumpkin decorating, face painting, a photo booth and the Maddie's Place Coffee Truck.

Guests are encouraged to come in costume, enjoy the event and learn more about how Maddie's Place continues to strengthen the community.

The free, open-house event will take place at Maddie's Place (1004 E. 8th Avenue) from 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
