(Seguin) — South-Central Texas landowners looking to improve their deer management skills will have a new opportunity this week. The Texas Wildlife Association (TWA), in partnership with Texas A&M AgriLife Extension, is hosting a comprehensive white-tailed deer workshop this Friday here in Seguin.

The full-day event, running from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Seguin Irma Lewis Outdoor Learning Center, will cover everything from deer ecology and nutritional needs to habitat improvement practices. Attendees will also learn about feral hog and predator control, as well as the impact of New World screwworms on local wildlife.
