Pizza Hut is poised to shut down 68 of its UK restaurants and 11 delivery sites, resulting in 1,210 job losses.

Brands, Pizza Hut's international parent company, has stepped in to rescue 64 outlets and preserve 1,277 positions through a pre-pack administration deal.

A pre-pack administration occurs when the sale of a company or its assets is negotiated prior to the formal administration procedure commencing.
