It’s been a busy few weeks for the Pellston Regional Airport.

In addition to closing a successful summer season, the airport is undergoing some renovations and is also expected to soon receive new equipment.

At the Emmet County Board of Commissioners meeting on Thursday, Oct. 16, county administrator David Boyer said new flights offered by United Airlines to Chicago this summer were a success, with nearly 17,000 people making the trip.
