Lokpal to buy 7 BMWs for ₹5 crore

The office of the Lokpal of India has issued a public tender to purchase seven high-end BMW 330 Li Long Wheel Base (LWB) luxury cars.

According to media reports, this move is part of the anti-corruption body's effort to strengthen its administrative and logistical arrangements. As per the tender, the cost of each car is more than 70 lakh rupees, and the total cost for 7 cars is expected to exceed 5 crore rupees.

This tender was issued on October 16. The tender process is open to everyone. The Lokpal office has asked interested parties to submit their bids before November 7. Bidding will start from November 7.
