Tuesday is a definitive fall day for our area: generally cloudy skies, cool and breezy weather, and scattered rain showers in the second half of today. Highs peak in the upper 50s this afternoon behind a passing cold front that ushers in wind gusts up to 25 mph. Lake-effect rain showers are likely in the early evening as many head home from work or school. The wet weather continues tonight, mainly north of US-30, as lows dip into the bottom of the 40s. Temperatures rise to the low 50s tomorrow amidst cloudy skies, but are forced to cool yet again as one last round of showers develops overhead.
