WILLIAMSBURG — Families from across Whitley County gathered at Kentucky Splash Water Park Saturday for the 3rd Annual Whitley County Gun Safety Trunk or Treat — a fun, educational and family-friendly event focused on promoting firearm safety among the community’s youth.

The free event, organized through the Whitley County Department for Community Based Services, drew a large crowd eager to enjoy an early Halloween celebration while learning valuable safety lessons.
