(Bismarck, ND) — A man who is in custody for shooting another man in Bismarck is being sentenced for attempted murder. Jamall Buckhalter pleaded guilty to attempted murder for the incident. It happened in June, when he shot a man near a shelter along 12th street while volunteers were handing out pizza. Buckhalter will serve twelve years in prison after a judge suspended eight years on his sentence. He was sentenced to five years on probation after he’s released from prison.
