CLEVELAND — Darien Harris, the 16-year-old who killed 17-year-old Sincere Rowdy and shot four others after a Euclid football game in 2024 , has pleaded guilty.

On Monday, Oct. 20, Harris pleaded guilty to the following:

One count of murder

One count of felonious assault

As a result of the plea, he was sentenced to life in prison with the first eligibility for parole after 20 years.

“Darien Harris’s reckless actions took the life of a 17-year-old Sincere Rowdy and injured several others,” said Cuyahoga County Prosecutor Michael C. O’Malley. “Gun violence among our youth continues to devastate families and communities.”
