SANDUSKY, Ohio (WOIO) - A 20-year-old Georgia man pleaded guilty Monday to killing a pregnant Sandusky woman.

Toldrick Griffin pleaded guilty to two counts of murder and one count of felonious assault.

According to police, an Ohio State Highway Patrol trooper found a disabled vehicle on U.S. Route 6 on Feb. 10.

When the trooper went to check the vehicle, Griffin fled and was taken into custody a short time later.

Police said the investigation led officers to a home on Perry Street, where the victim was found deceased in a bed.

The name of the woman has not been released, but police said her cause of death was asphyxia by strangulation.

Griffin will be sentenced on Jan. 22, 2026.
