VERMILION, Ohio (WOIO) - A Lorain County Grand Jury has indicted a Vermilion man in connection with the deadly shooting of a woman in July.
Bryan Hall, 36, was incited on the charges of murder, aggravated murder, kidnapping, felonious assault, and aggravated menacing for the death of Ashlee Summer Peak.
Peak, 34, was killed on July 10 during a domestic violence dispute, according to Vermilion police.
Police were called to the home in the 500 block of Ferndale Ave. at 1:46 a.m.
When officers arrived, they said Hall shot Peak twice and then put the weapon to his head, but pulled away at the last second.
Officers immediately rendered first aid to Peak, but she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Hall remains incarcerated at the Lorain County Jail.
