STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — A 38-year-old man was indicted on weapons charges after he was allegedly caught with a gun inside the NYPD’s 120th Precinct stationhouse in St. George.

A dispute on the Staten Island Ferry preceded the defendant’s arrest on Aug. 28, according to a law-enforcement source.

Williams White of Mersereau Avenue in Mariners Harbor allegedly had a Taurus Spectrum semi-automatic gun in the right front pocket of a pair of shorts that were worn underneath his pants.
