SACRAMENTO, Calif. —
Northern California could see a couple of chances for wet weather this week.
The first is Wednesday. Meteorologist Tamara Berg said that one is expected to be a weaker system, in which some light sprinkles could pass through the region. Parts of the Sierra along and south of Highway 50 may see up to or fewer than a tenth of an inch of rain.
Thursday and Friday are forecast to stay dry with high temperatures slightly below normal.
Berg said Saturday is when a stronger system could bring more rain and snow.
Below are the forecast rain totals for Saturday as of 6 a.m. on Oct. 21, 2025. These numbers are preliminary and could change:
Sacramento — 0.07 inches
Stockton — 0.01 inches
Modesto — 0.02 inches
