Kill Devil Hills opposes proposed changes to blue crab harvests, asks public to weigh in

The Town of Kill Devil Hills is asking the public to voice opposition to proposed restrictions on blue crab harvests being considered by the NC Division of Marine Fisheries.

An Oct. 16 release reports that the commissioners have passed a resolution that opposes the restrictions and states that “these proposed regulations would irreparably harm the state’s seafood industry and ultimately, Northeastern’s North Carolina overall economy.” Read the resolution by clicking here .
