LYNCHBURG, Va. (WDBJ) - The Lynchburg City Schools division is planning to implement walk-through metal detectors at its high schools and is seeking the community’s input.

The metal detectors are part of the division-wide effort to ensure its schools remain safe while in session.

LCS is looking for volunteers for a committee to review the use of metal detectors to ensure a smooth transition. They also put out a survey for feedback.

Anybody in the community who’s interested in joining the committee can fill out this form .
