SUMTER COUNTY, S.C. — A Sumter man is facing multiple drug and weapons charges following a search warrant executed by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit on Thursday, October 16, 2025.

Deputies say they arrested Celestino Anthony Gonzalez Jr., 32, after executing a warrant at his home on Coachman Drive. During the search, investigators collected evidence that led to several felony charges.

Gonzalez is charged with trafficking in cocaine, manufacture, distribution, and possession of narcotics, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain crimes.
