Sumo wrestling is pretty niche, but certain highlights simply shouldn’t be ignored.
Sometimes, it’s Micah Parsons being made to look like a rag doll despite his ability to break through the best offensive lines in the NFL; other times, it’s all sumo.
In the recent case of 21-year-old Aonishiki Arata, it’s the latter.
The Ukrainian, who changed his name from Danylo Yavhusishin, has been sumo wrestling since the age of seven. He recently took on 23-year-old Atamifuji Sakutarō as part of a five-day exhibition at the Royal Albert Hall in London and is now going viral.
While he was born in Japan, Atamifuji also used to have a different name: Sakutarō Takei.
Anyhoo, he came off looking a bit silly after facing off with Aonishiki, who used a wrist snap that sent him flying.
