MyKayla Skinner is making it clear that she is nothing like Simone Biles.

In 2024, the two former teammates and friends were at war after Skinner made headlines when she shared harsh criticism for the 2024 US women’s artistic gymnastics team. Skinner publicly criticized the team, suggesting Biles was the only member with the requisite work ethic.

“Besides Simone, I feel like the talent and the depth just isn’t what it used to be,” she said, per US Weekly.

“I mean, obviously, a lot of girls don’t work as hard. The girls just don’t have the work ethic. A lot of girls don’t work as hard.”

After Simone Biles became the most decorated gymnast in US history, she put Skinner on blast when she took to Instagram to post some photos of herself and her teammates celebrating the American flag.
