DECATUR, Ill. (WCIA) -- A Decatur man was arrested last week after allegedly impersonating police and forcing his way behind a reception desk at a local VA Clinic.
According to an affidavit from the Macon County Circuit Clerk, on Tuesday, Oct. 14, Decatur Police officers responded to the VA Clinic, located at 792 N Sunnyside Road. Officers were told a person, identified as 34-year-old Bradley L. Horges, was disturbing the healthcare workers on site. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Horges, who was seated at the reception desk.
When Horges saw the officers, he advised them he was a "Federal Marshal" and said he needed to detain two women behind the counter and get on the computers. Decatur officers asked Horges if he knew impersonating police was a criminal offense, and he said he
