DEKALB COUNTY, Ga. — A Georgia teachers federation issued a letter this week asking the DeKalb County Board of Education for an accounting of superintendent pay, following the resignation of Dr. Devon Horton .
Additionally, the Georgia Federation of Teachers is asking for the resignation of school board members who were on the board when Dr. Horton was hired or "letting the public know that they will not seek re-election."
Last week, Dr. Horton announced that he would be resigning after he was initially placed on administrative leave following the announcement of a federal indictment against him for an alleged kickback scheme in Illinois, where he previously worked.
