MT. JULIET, Tenn. (WKRN) — Two Mt. Juliet city employees have been fired amid an ongoing investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

According to city officials, the employees worked in the city's information technology department, one of whom was the city's IT director.

A city spokesperson provided News 2 with the following statement:

The City has separated employment with two employees from the IT Department, including former IT Director Travis Taylor. Due to an ongoing investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, the City will not be providing further comment at this time.
