SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - The United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) partners with local law enforcement agencies twice a year to help people dispose of potentially harmful prescription drugs.

DEA National Drug Take Back Day is Saturday, Oct. 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at several locations in Siouxland (listed below).

The DEA and its partners take tablets, capsules, patches, and other solid forms of prescription medication. Some things are NOT accepted: liquids, vials, syringes, and other sharps.
