CONCORD, N.H. —
As the federal government shutdown stretches on, there are growing concerns over what will happen to critical food-assistance programs such as SNAP and WIC.
New Hampshire officials said the state has secured additional funding from the Department of Agriculture to keep the Women, Infants and Children program, or WIC, going.

"As I have said repeatedly, politicians in Washington need to get their act together and reopen Washington," she said.
