A number of Little Rock city employees are planning to attend Tuesday’s Little Rock Board of Directors meeting to demand the city address the findings of a comprehensive staff compensation study commissioned in 2023, according to a press release from the Central Arkansas Chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America.

The study reveals major pay inequities between city employees, the DSA release states. The report was “meant to ensure fair and equitable pay across all city departments” but “has been withheld from both workers and the community,” the organization said.
