MAIDSTONE, Vt. (WCAX) - Rolling mountains stretch as far as the eye can see at the West Mountain Wildlife Management Area in the Northeast Kingdom.

The state has over 100 WMAs that are free for the public to use, but at 22,971 acres, West Mountain is by far the largest.

In this week’s Wildlife Watch, Ike Bendavid visited the Essex County WMA with Vermont Fish & Wildlife’s Jillian Kilborn.
