Travis Kelce, a self-described “lifelong Six Flags fan,” is now an investor in the company.

JANA Partners, a New York City-based investment firm, announced that it is working with the Super Bowl Champion and other business executives to "enhance shareholder value and improve the guest experience" at Six Flags theme parks.

"I am a lifelong Six Flags fan and grew up going to these parks with my family and friends," Kelce said in a statement. "The chance to help make Six Flags special for the next generation is one I couldn't pass up."

Together, the group of investors owns about 9% of economic interest in the Six Flags Entertainment Corporation.
