The NBA is back once again after a few short months off. A couple of Boomers have gotten paid, teams continue to shuffle in the hopes of toppling the Thunder and the world waits on a potential LeBron retirement tour.
Here are five things to keep an eye on as the 2025-26 NBA season officially gets underway.
1. Australians looking to build after big paydays
Two Boomers stars — Josh Giddey and Dyson Daniels — are coming into the season having signed four-year, $US100 million ($154 million) extensions and both are now at interesting junctures in their respective careers.
Giddey has a chance to put up gaudy numbers of what looks to be a Chicago Bulls team that will be in the lower reaches of the NBA's Eastern Conference.
The key for Giddey, now 23, will be whether he can make those numbers
