REDDING, Calif. - A Redding man was arrested by the Redding Police Department on Friday as part of an investigation into fentanyl trafficking in the Redding area.
The Redding Police Department says that on Friday, a traffic stop was performed by officers with the Neighborhood Police Unit (NPU) on a vehicle that was being driven by 32-year-old Joseph Holcomb of Redding.
Authorities say the NPU officers had obtained a search warrant for Holcomb, his residence, and his vehicle in connection to an ongoing investigation looking into the trafficking of fentanyl in the Redding area.
During the stop, officers discovered two young children in the backseat of Holcomb's vehicle. A backpack containing fentanyl, packaging materials, and U.S. currency was found between them. Redding Police says tha
