The Poughkeepsie Journal girls soccer player of the week poll is online for Oct. 6-12 and Oct. 13-19.

Information was utilized on reports gathered by Varsity 845. Coaches are encouraged to provide their game reports in order for athletes to be chosen.

Winners of each weekly contest will be ineligible for the ensuing two weeks: Nicole Petrillo of Arlington and Sarai Horne of Beacon.

For Sept. 29-Oct. 5, Horne beat Morgan LaCasse of Ketcham and Lilly Kozera of Millbrook.

Go to PoughkeepsieJournal.com/sports/high-school and vote as often as you like until Sunday, Oct. 26, at 11 p.m. The winners will be announced each week on the @Varsity845 account on X/Twitter.
