CINCINNATI (WXIX) - In the wake of Cincinnati’s Police Chief Teresa Theetge being placed on administrative leave, FOX 19 spoke to residents and business owners about their thoughts on the decision.

Justin Karp is the owner of Main Auction Galleries, which is on the same block where a violent brawl broke out over the summer that led to months of discourse surrounding the city’s crime.

Karp said he feels safe in his business and said that he hadn’t seen anything like that incident before or since.

“Maybe [something like that happened], and we just didn’t hear about it because at the end of the day it was stupid and childish, but it was just a fight,” he said. “What happened on 3rd Street is far worse.”
