HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - Halloween is full of traditions and memories, and every child deserves to take part in the fun.
That’s why the Hoops Family Children’s Hospital and Cabell Huntington Hospital held their own trick-or-treat event on Tuesday.
The safe and fun Halloween celebration invited pediatric patients, as well as children of parents receiving care, to enjoy candy and treats.
“Being able to watch kids have fun and enjoy what they’re doing, and kind of see the different aspects of it, when their favorite character’s here, or they win a prize, or they get a bag of full of candy, it absolutely just thrills you,” said Carleigh Cazad-Francis, with Cabell Huntington Hospital.
