LUBBOCK, Texas -- It's fall time again in the Hub City and that also means the return of seasonal allergies and illnesses. This also means the return of misconceptions and myths when it comes to treating either allergies or illnesses.

Allergy symptoms can often mimic colds or flu and the confusion about which one you are dealing with can lead to unnecessary doctors' visits or worse, ignoring serious signs.
