Owner of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers Andy Sandler addresses the chamber in Atrium Health Ballpark.

The Rowan Chamber of Commerce monthly Power in Partnership breakfast brought the chamber away from Trinity Oaks and out to Kannapolis at Atrium Health Ballpark, home of the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers. Owner of the Cannon Ballers Andy Sandler talked to the group about the growth of the Cannon Ballers in Kannapolis and the development of the ballpark.

Mayor of Kannapolis Darrell Hinnant introduced Sandler to the crowd, talking about his economic contributions to the city of Kannapolis since buying the minor league team in 2018. Under Sandler’s leadership, the team changed its name, built a new ballpark and started hosting more events outside of baseball.
