LAFAYETTE, Ind. — On Saturday, October 18, Lafayette joined cities across the country in observing the second annual No Kings Day , a nationwide protest against the policies and leadership style of the Trump administration.

Organizers estimated between 3,000 to 5,000 people gathered in the Greater Lafayette area — a crowd significantly larger than the city’s previous protest in June. The movement, which began earlier this year, continues to gain momentum, reflecting a growing sense of urgency among participants.
