The 2025–26 NBA season kicked off in electrifying fashion. The Oklahoma City Thunder edged past the Houston Rockets 125–114 in a double-overtime thriller at Paycom Center on Tuesday night.

Before the game even tipped off, Thunder fans celebrated a historic milestone as the team raised their first championship banner since relocating to Oklahoma City.
