Developers have announced plans for a new $28 million waterfront hotel along the Sacramento River in the small Delta town of Hood. The 60-room project, located off Highway 160, is expected to begin construction by late summer next year and open in 2028. Featuring a restaurant, lounge, spa, fitness center, and pickleball courts, the hotel will offer river views from every room. The development is projected to generate over 100 construction jobs and 50 permanent positions once complete. It is currently under environmental and entitlement review.
