Budget supermarket behemoth Lidl has unveiled ambitious plans to launch 66 fresh stores across Scotland.
The massive expansion encompasses a blend of town centres, retail parks, and standalone locations - with a comprehensive list of targeted areas available below.
The proposed sites must satisfy the retailer's standard store criteria, featuring unit dimensions of 18,000 to 26,500 sq ft alongside a minimum of 100 designated parking spaces.
Standalone outlets require plots spanning 1.5 acres, whilst mixed-use developments need up to 4 acres.
The proposals will showcase adaptable formats across shopping centres, high streets, and retail parks, with or without parking facilities, positioned near major public transport connections, reports the Daily Record .
The revelation emerged as Li
