LANDOVER, Md. — Prince George’s County Executive Aisha Braveboy officially introduced her new administration Monday evening during a swearing-in ceremony that highlighted both fresh leadership and familiar faces.

The event, held at City of Praise Ministries in Landover, marked a full-circle moment for several appointees who were raised and educated in the county — and are now stepping into top leadership roles.

Maxene Bardwell was sworn in as the new Chief Administrative Officer and said she’s ready to get to work.

“I’m official. I can start doing the business of this great county,” said Bardwell.

She’s joined by Thelmetria Michaelides, the newly appointed fire chief, and two leaders returning to the Prince George’s County Police Department in new roles: Chief George Nader and Assistan
