Boston-based Sam Adams' latest specialty brew is tipping the scales with a whopping 30% alcohol by volume.

The company described the latest edition in the Utopias series, Utopias 2025, as a barrel-aged "extreme beer." It's made of a mix of vintages up to 30 years old.

Each bottle will cost $240.

It's illegal in 15 states, including New Hampshire and Vermont, but is legal in Massachusetts.

The Utopias series debuted in 2001, and previous editions peaked at 28% ABV.
