MUNFORDVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - A fire erupted in Munfordville Tuesday, prompting response from multiple local and state agencies.
Munfordville Fire and Rescue responded to the report of a possible structure fire around 4:20 p.m. in the 1100 block of Main Street, according to the agency’s Facebook.
Responding crews reported smoke and flames showing from the eave, the post said. The fire was then contained quickly to the room of origin.
Bonnieville Fire, Horse Cave Fire, Munfordville PD, Hart County Sheriff’s Department, Kentucky State Police, Hart County EMS and Hart County Emergency Management assisted on scene. Red Cross was on scene to assist residents as well.
Crews were on scene for approximately 2.5 hours, the Facebook post said.
