Campaigning for the 2026 Oscars is well underway, and at this stage, the goal is just to be memorable. Outside the fall festivals, there's been no real opportunities yet to rack up precursor wins and solidify oneself as a contender, so the only real goal is to be memorable – break into the conversation and stay there. As a result, we're likely to see a lot of weird marketing stunts this time of year , some of which will inevitably embarrass more than they impress.
