A Tennessee State Representative says he’s pulling his support for the land swap proposal involving McDonald Farm and Enterprise South Nature Park.
On Tuesday, Rep. Greg Vital, from District 29, said that he the "concept letter" of support he co-signed did not have all of the details about the swap.
"I did co-sign a ‘concept letter’ of support for both Parks, but it did not indicate the removal of a large scale amount of acreage from the Nature Park for industrialization,” Vital said on Facebook . "We must not compromise the core and character of the ES Nature Park and its trails.”
Vital said a decision about whether or not to lift the deed restrictions for Hamilton County must be made by the federal government.
